Split & Trogir - full day

After pleasant drive along the coast, we arrive to Split, capital of Central Dalmatia.

The old part of the town is built in and around the Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian who had it built in the beginning of the 4th century not far away from his birthplace, the Roman colony of Salona. We will visit the Palace, St. Duje Cathedral, St. Martin Church, The Peristyle and National Square surrounded by many famous palaces. There will be enough time for lunch or stroll along the Split harbor promenade.

Soon afterwards we depart for Trogir. Further in the programmed there is a sightseeing of this charming old town and introduction to its historical and cultural background.
