Korcula / Mljet – full day
After a pleasant sea trip along the Hvar Island and Peljesac peninsula we arrive to the town of Korcula. Korcula is believed to be birthplace of Marco Polo and the town and according to the legend it was founded by the Trojan hero Antenor. The rich history has left visible traces on this little town, which you will notice as soon as you set foot on its stone paved streets.
After a short stop, the cruise continues to Mljet, one of the loveliest and most densely wooded islands in the Adriatic.
A short walk will take us to the National Park where we find two small lakes. On the larger of the lakes there is a small island with a Benedictine monastery from 12th century.
Spend your time swimming, strolling or have lunch in one of the local restaurants.
Return trip in the late afternoon to Korcula.
We will have a walking tour of the Korcula Old Town.
