Jelsa-Vrbovska-Starigrad – full day (from Bol)
Departure from Bol and sailing to Jelsa, a small town on the island of Hvar. Upon arrival we continue to the small fishing town of Vrbovska. A short stroll will take us to the church of St. Lawrence with its rich art collection (Veronese, Bassano) and collection of gold and silver.
We continue to the famous Church/fortress from the 16th century. From its roof there is a very attractive panoramic view.
Through the Jelsa/Starigrad valley we drive towards Starigrad, the oldest urban settlement on the island. We will take a walk through the narrow streets, passing the parish church of St. Stephen towards the beautiful Renaissance palace of the poet Petar Hektorovic with its garden, fishpond and ethnographical collection.
There will be plenty of free time for strolling or swimming.
